Luxury jewelry for the one of a kind.

Our story

About

When it comes to jewelry, most people have a few go-to pieces that they can mix and match with different outfits. There’s nothing wrong with having a signature look, but when you buy from main stream brand chances are someone else is going to have that piece. Your signature piece can be someone else signature piece. When you own a jewelry from Art of Man and God, you will own a signature that can’t be replicate and own a one of a kind.

Art of Man and God

Dr. Presser grew up in California where he studied medicine, history and music. He first became passionate about gemstones and jewelry as a child through the lapidary club at his father’s work. This nascent interest would then develop over the next 3 decades into an ever-growing appreciation and understanding of the arts, sciences, and indeed the human experience. He attended medical school at the University of California, San Francisco and completed surgical training at the Cleveland Clinic and UCLA before moving to Tennessee in 2018 to take a position as a transplant surgeon. In parallel to his medical studies, he continued to hone his craft and skills as a designer until in 2020, Dr. Presser launched Art de L’Homme et Dieu (Art of Man and God): a manifestation of a lifelong passion for gemstones, Jewelry, and the artistic process. At the core of Dr Presser’s pieces is a understanding of the duality of jewelry: something which takes something in its fairly natural state and striving to improve and perfect it into works of art that strive to exalt the experiences of humankind and the individual wearer.

Designed in his studio in Nashville, TN and Overland Park, KS, the collections of Art de L’Homme et Dieu feature unique and small series pieces that draw inspiration from Dr. Presser’s own experiences as well as the natural world, art, and history. The juxtaposition of gemstones drawn directly from nature and then transformed via the work of cutters, designers, and craftsman, exemplify the nature of the endeavor – truly the work of Man and God.
